On August 27,
2012, CADRA President Carlos Alberto Pazos and AATI President Alejandra
Mercedes Jorge signed a cooperation agreement.  AATI represents and
protects the interests of technical, scientific and literary translators and
interpreters, including intellectual property rights, and carries out awareness
and advocacy activities to promote professional practices and improve the
continuous education of its members.

This
agreement represents another major step in CADRA’s efforts to support and
promote intellectual property rights.
